TEACHER TRAINING

The Association for Teacher Training in TEFL (ATT) was founded in 1991 to establish and guarantee consistent quality in ELT teacher training courses throughout the country and put Ireland on the map as a premier location for teacher training in TEFL. The ATT is a professional body which oversees teacher training standards in all member schools. The only teacher training body in Ireland to employ an independent panel of moderators who apply standardised criteria in their marking system, the ATT has pioneered a variety of teacher training courses to suit all needs and requirements. Highly-qualified and experienced TEFL moderators monitor courses and evaluate candidates who complete their studies leading to teaching qualifications which are recognised nationally and internationally.

All teacher trainers are suitably qualified in TEFL, imparting not only their extensive knowledge in the field of English language teaching but also their skills based on many years' experience as teachers and trainers.

* The Distance Course can be completed online and assignments can be returned for correction by email or postal service. A non-refundable deposit of € 200 is payable on application to the course with the balance payable at least four weeks before the commencement of the course.
