About Us

Neil S.J. Mc Mahon. Director.

Neil is a Psychology graduate from University College Dublin. He has worked in the EFL industry for over 10 years and has extensive experience in the field of marketing and web development. He has been instrumental in directing U-Learn's new web based learning systems. Neil enjoys playing the guitar in his free time and he can often be spotted cycling around the Dublin hills at weekends.



Stephen Porter. Director of Studies.

Stephen is a native of Cork city and a American Literature Masters graduate from University College Dublin. A former EFL teacher of seven years Stephen is ideally placed to give students and teaching staff support and assistance through the learning process. Stephen spent many years travelling throughout Asia while based in South Korea. He is a fan of classical music and literature and is an active member of Dublin's Storytelling community.




Ciarán Mc Mahon. Communications Director.

Ciarán has been working in communications for the last four years. He spent one of those as personal communications adviser to one of Irelands top politicians. He then went to work in the private sector in a corporate communications company. Ciarán is also an avid squash player.
